If you are planning to come to Switzerland.....you better be a millionaire, billionaire, or married to a wife that doesn't eat a lot. Of course, I am none of those three things!!!! Just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about we made a stop today for lunch and the cheapest thing in the neighborhood was Burger King. You could order a value meal for ONLY $13.99. I repeat....a value meal for one person! We actually passed on the "cheap" lunch and splurged at the local pub ($22 burgers!), but decided to come back to Burger King for a little dessert and wound up sharing a $9 milkshake.
You think that is insane? Our friends Bubba and Lauren wound up sitting down at a nicer local restaurant and ordered two salads and iced tea for lunch. Care to take a guess how much they paid?
SIXTY TWO DOLLARS!!!
